On the One Year Mark (English Version)
A few weeks ago Google Photo reminded me that it had been a year since I loaded the EBC trek trip photos. It has been one year already! That means Project iBelieve is almost one year old! I still remember the day when I decided to do something for Nepali children.
It was the first day of our EBC trek. On October 11, 2016, our group of 13 people from Canada began the Everest Base Camp via Gokyo Lake Trek. We were led by our guide Bal and assistant guide Karan, starting from Lukha with the goal of reaching Phakding where we would stay for the night. I was quite excited about this trip with the opportunity of admiring Mt. Everest from a distance.
Shortly after we started, I was delighted to find a 100 Rs bill lying on the trail. 100 Rs is about 1 US dollar. I picked up the bill and called out: “This is my lucky money!”

几个星期前Google Photo 提醒我自去年上传珠峰大本营徒步旅行的照片已经有一年了。时间过的太快了。那就是说Project iBelieve诞生也快一年了。我清楚地记得我决定为尼泊尔儿童做点事的那天。
那是我们开始珠峰大本营徒步旅行的第一天。我们一行13人从加拿大的多伦多出发，到加德满都参加一日游后乘飞机到了Lukla。 Lukla 是珠峰大本营路线的起始点。那天是2016年10月11日。我们由向导Bal 和副向导Karan 带领着， 从Lukla开始向珠峰大本营的进军。我们当天的目的地是Phakding,一共是3小时左右的行程。 此次的旅程让我非常兴奋。 想象着几天后就可以看到著名而神圣的珠穆朗玛峰，我精力大增。
说来也巧，在我们出发后不久，我就行走的道上发现一张钱，捡起来一看，是 100 尼币，相当于1 美元。我很开心地嚷道；“我捡到钱了，这是我的幸运钱。“

In April 2017, Bal, our Program Manager in Nepal, and I visited Nele Lower Secondary School (NLSS) that is located in the remote mountainous area in Solukhumbu Region, Nepal We received the warmest welcome from the schools and the parents. The hardship of life in the villages and kids’ thirsty for knowledge encourage me to launch programs as soon as possible. I hope to inspire more people to join me helping Nepali kids in the remote areas get an access to education.

Nele 之旅 – 2017年4 月(中文版）
2017年4月，Project iBelieve 在尼泊尔的项目负责人Bal 和我去山区一个叫 Nele 的地方， 为那儿的小学 Nele Lower Secondary School 的学生送去定制的校服， 一些文具，儿童书籍和运动器材。五天的行程和山区生活让我感触颇深，也激励着我将Project iBelieve的项目尽快开展起来，也带动更多的人加入到公益活动中。
